Extensive design experience and knowledge of all process facilities across all mines and port. Recent projects include:
- Design and installation of an X-Ray Transmission and High Pressure Air Ore Sorting Pilot Plant;
- Port Debottlenecking Project – included the dynamic scale model testing, patented innovative design, fabrication, installation and implementation of a replacement materials handling transfer chute and deflector, increasing mean time between failures due to wear (MTBF) and minimizing mean time to repair the chute during shutdowns (MTTR);
- Transfer chutes installation, patented transfer chute design provides a rotable design, which provided an increased capacity, full flow control, eliminated blockages, reduced chute and belt wear, spillage and dust. The technology was utilised to alieviate further bottlenecks (3 further installations);
- Innovative upgrade to materials handling equipment and drives on one of the primary ship loaders to provide optimum loading under all loading conditions;
- Corporate Diesel Handling and Storage Specifications and Standard Drawings ensuring a consistent design approach on all new diesel infrastructure during the expansion;
- Project execution and delivery of magnetite plant from concept level study through to operation utilising rapid, innovative delivery methods.
